Aile Hafızası is a private family archive for Turkish-German families. Short WhatsApp interviews with Dede, Nine or the parents create voice messages, transcripts, photos, person profiles, a family tree, a map and a timeline — structured in a protected, EU-hosted online archive. Original voices stay unchanged. No AI voices, no public feed, no advertising. Pay once, no subscription.

Mission
Turkish-German families often experience that the grandparents' generation takes their life stories with them — the village wedding, the journey to Cologne, the first years in the factory. Much of this lies scattered today in WhatsApp chats, shoeboxes and unorganised cloud drives.
Aile Hafızası turns these fragments into a coherent family archive — easy enough that anyone can join in without a smartphone app (a WhatsApp voice message is enough), structured enough that grandchildren in 30 years can still find what they're looking for.

Common press questions
How private is this really?
Servers in Frankfurt, all storage buckets private (signed URLs), no public feed, robots.txt blocks private paths, payment data only via Stripe (PCI-DSS, EU). Original voices are never released for AI training (DPAs with OpenAI + Anthropic).
What happens to the data when someone dies?
Terms §13 covers inheritance: rightful heirs can take over the archive with proof. The owner can designate family members as co-administrators during their lifetime.
Why no subscription?
Family memories are not a subscription service. Buying once gives you 1 or 2 years of online storage included — then optionally extend or fully download the archive (JSON + ZIP) and keep it.
How are you different from Google Drive?
Cloud drives store files. We structure voices with people, places, years and transcripts — and can generate PDF family books and exports from them.
